Slip-stitch :: 4

Here’s a way to show off your needlework art. This pattern is a bit complicated but the result is definitely worth the effort. Amazing texture and color play will be a nice decoration for any garment. This pattern cannot be reproduced by a knitting machine so your creation will be one of a kind artistic work of art.

Cast on a multiple of 6 stitches + 1 stitch at the end of the row.

Work according to the chart below.

Repeat rows 1-12 till necessary for completing your project.

Don’t forget to add selvage stitches if you want to make a nice-looking edge.

Note: the chart depicts stitches in right side rows from right to left (that is, your first stitch in right side row will be the first stitch on the right of the chart) and stitches in wrong side row from left to right (that is, your first stitch in wrong side row will be the first stitch on the left of the chart). To make this concept easier for you the number of each row is shown at the beginning of row (number 1 is on the right side of the chart and number 2 is on the left side). Ignore this note if you knit in circle and start all your rows from the right of the chart.
