Ribbing :: 1

Looking for an easy but distinctive reversible stitch pattern for a hat, scarf or a warm jacket? Try this amazing broken ribbing pattern. It looks the same on both sides of knitted fabric and creates an amazing texture for additional warmth of your knit.

Cast on an even number of stitches. Work stitches in right side rows according to the chart below. Don’t forget to knit first and last stitch as selvage stitches if you want to make a nice-looking edge. In every wrong side row work stitches as they appear. Repeat rows 1 to 8 till necessary for completing your project.

This pattern is very easy to knit and you’ll finish your project in no time.
