This stitch pattern is all about holes. Awesome openwork that it creates is perfect for beach cover-ups and light wraps. It will also look great as a border on a tunic or skirt.
MATERIALS USED TO MAKE THE SWATCH
Needles – 4.5 mm (US7)

Row 2 (wrong side): [p2, k1, p1], repeat brackets to end.
Row 3 (right side): [yo, SSK, k2tog, yo], repeat brackets to end.
Row 4 (wrong side): [k1, p3], repeat brackets to end.
Repeat rows 1-4 as necessary for completing your project.
All abbreviations are explained in the Key to Chart.
You can also work according to the chart below. Pattern repeat is marked by red frame.
Note: the chart depicts stitches in right side rows from right to left (that is, your first stitch in right side row will be the first stitch on the right of the chart) and stitches in wrong side rows from left to right (that is, your first stitch in wrong side row will be the first stitch on the left of the chart). To make this concept easier the number of each row is shown at the beginning of row (number 1 is on the right side of the chart and number 2 is on the left side).
