This stitch pattern is all about holes. Awesome openwork that it creates is perfect for beach cover-ups and light wraps. It will also look great as a border on a tunic or skirt.
MATERIALS USED TO MAKE THE SWATCH
Yarn – Knitca Bamboo 100% bamboo yarn in Peach colour
Needles – 4.5 mm (US7)
INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on a multiple of 4 stitches. Add 2 selvage stitches.
Row 1 (right side): [k2tog, 2yo, SSK], repeat brackets to end.
Row 2 (wrong side): [p2, k1, p1], repeat brackets to end.
Row 3 (right side): [yo, SSK, k2tog, yo], repeat brackets to end.
Row 4 (wrong side): [k1, p3], repeat brackets to end.
Repeat rows 1-4 as necessary for completing your project.

Note: the chart depicts stitches in right side rows from right to left (that is, your first stitch in right side row will be the first stitch on the right of the chart) and stitches in wrong side rows from left to right (that is, your first stitch in wrong side row will be the first stitch on the left of the chart). To make this concept easier the number of each row is shown at the beginning of row (number 1 is on the right side of the chart and number 2 is on the left side).
