Cable :: 5

This pattern is perfect for a cardigan, a hat or a scarf, in fact, for any knits :-). It makes a nice soft not-too-bulky and nice-looking fabric. And it is reversible. Great source of inspiration.

Knitca Delight 100% superwash merino yarn, color 0217 Lavender Pink and
Knitca Delight 100% superwash merino yarn, color 0228 Burgundy.

Needles:

Wrong side of knitting stitch pattern – Cable 5
Instructions:

Cast on a multiple of 6 stitches. Add 2 selvage stitches if you want to make a nice-looking edge.

Work all right side rows according to the chart below. Pattern repeat is marked by red frame. In every wrong side row work sts as they present themselves, sts that are slipped in right side rows should be slipped purlwise (yarn in front of the work) in wrong side rows.

Repeat rows 3-26 as necessary for completing your project.

Note: the chart depicts stitches in right side rows from right to left (that is, your first stitch in right side row will be the first stitch on the right of the chart) and stitches in wrong side row from left to right (that is, your first stitch in wrong side row will be the first stitch on the left of the chart). To make this concept easier the number of each row is shown at the beginning of row (number 1 is on the right side of the chart and number 2 is on the left side). Ignore this note if you knit in circle and start all your rows from the right of the chart.
