Finished size of the bag is 10 x 12 cm (4” x 4 3/4”).
You’ll need
1 ball of Royale Metallic Crochet Thread, 88% mercerized cotton 12% metallic, 91m / 100 yds., color #0090G Gold.
Straight knitting needles size 2.75mm (US size 2)or size to obtain gauge.
24 cm (9 1/2”) of transparent ribbon 1 cm (1/2”)wide, golden color.

I would like to make this bag but not sure what a selvage stitch is???

Selvage stitch is an extra
Selvage stitch is an extra stitch you add at each side of the knitted fabric. When you assemble the bag you will sew it right below the selvage stitch and thus the lacy pattern stitch won't be distorted.
