The word “knitca” (нитка) means “yarn” in Ukraine, our native country. And that’s exactly what this website is about – yarn, knitting, knitting tools and accessories, knitting patterns, knitting inspiration, knitting help and knitting fun.

It’s only a lucky coincidence that “knitca” can also be interpreted as “knit in Canada”, because that’s who we are – a Canadian family run knitting business. We do knit in Canada, we knit a lot, actually, and we want to share our comfortable knitting with you.
